Trips are booked directly with Carson by phone or text — there is no online booking form and no payment taken on this site. One quick conversation gets you a date, a launch time, and an honest read on what is biting.

Guided crappie, largemouth bass, and catfish trips run year-round out of Sanger, Texas, about 45 minutes north of Dallas-Fort Worth. Rods, reels, bait, tackle, a cooler with ice, and fish cleaning are all included — bring a Texas freshwater fishing license if you are 17 or older.

How booking works

  1. 1Call or text CarsonReach Carson at (940) 597-0328. Tell him roughly when you want to go, how many anglers are coming, and what you would like to catch. Texting works if you are at work — he answers between trips.
  2. 2He picks the water and the windowCarson decides between Lake Ray Roberts and Lake Texoma based on what the fish are doing that week, then confirms a date and a launch time that works for your group.
  3. 3A $100.00 deposit holds the dateOnce you agree on a date, a $100.00 deposit locks it in — Carson will tell you how to send it. The balance is due the day of the trip. No deposit is ever collected through this website.

Before you call

  • Group size: up to 4 anglers on the boat. Larger groups are doable — Carson runs a second boat with a guide he trusts.
  • Deposit: $100.00 holds your date, balance due the day of the trip.
  • Weather: lightning, dangerous wind, or unsafe water means a free reschedule. Light rain usually still fishes well.
  • Licenses: anglers 17 and up need a Texas freshwater fishing license. Kids 16 and under fish free.
  • Kids: welcome and encouraged — crappie and catfish trips keep them busy.
