Carson Tubbs has been getting people hooked on fish since he was in high school. Now he's turned that passion into a full-time guiding operation on Lake Ray Roberts — one of North Texas's best fisheries for crappie, bass, and catfish. All skill levels welcome. He'll put you on fish.

What should I bring?+
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, weather-appropriate clothes, snacks & drinks, and a valid Texas fishing license (17+). I provide rods, reels, bait, tackle, and a cooler with ice for your fish.
Do I need a fishing license?+
Yes — anyone 17 and up needs a Texas freshwater fishing license. Easiest place is the Texas Parks & Wildlife site or app. Kids 16 and under fish free.
What if the weather's bad?+
Safety first. Lightning, dangerous wind, unsafe conditions — we reschedule at no charge. Light rain or wind? We usually still fish; the bite is often best.
How many people fit on the boat?+
Up to 4 anglers comfortably. Bigger group? I have buddies who guide — we can run multiple boats. Just ask.
Are kids welcome?+
Absolutely. Kids are some of my favorite clients. I match the trip to their attention span — crappie or catfish keep them busy and grinning.
Do you clean the fish?+
Yes, fish cleaning is included. You leave with fillets bagged and on ice, ready for the skillet.
How do I book?+
Book online in about a minute — pick your package, choose an open date on the calendar, and pay a $100 deposit to hold your spot. The balance is due the day of the trip at the pier (cash, card, or Venmo). Prefer to talk? Call or text Carson at 940-597-0328.
Is gratuity expected?+
Never expected, always appreciated. 15–20% is standard if you had a great day and want to take care of your guide.
